This is a collaborative project where teachers volunteer to create a pair of slides in a slide deck for a presentation called: New Tools New Pedagogies.
The presentation is a series of pairs; pairs of slides exploring the theme: "New tools enable new forms of pedagogy." The first slide in each pair is generally a screenshot of a web based tool, perhaps with a short description of what it does and a link to the website. The second slide in each pair suggests a possible way the tool can be used meaningfully and concretely in (or out of) the classroom.
There are lots of reasons for doing this: thinking about new possibilities for teaching, building community by co-creating something valuable, develop presentation skills, develop design skills, but the main reason is to have fun together!
